Wave data are measured using a Datawell Directional WaveRider Mk III buoy. The wave buoy was deployed on 7 December 2010, at which time the magnetic declination at the site was 2.7° west, changing by 0.15° east per year. Wave direction is reported following the nautical convention, meaning that the direction is where the waves come from, measured clockwise from magnetic north.
| 20/11/2025 | Scheduled service. On arrival at site, a large number of lobster pots were found attached to the mooring. These were found to have dampened the very high frequency measurements, but further investigation found no impact on the calculated spectral parameters. |
| 21/05/2025 | Scheduled service |
| 14/11/2024 | Scheduled service. On arrival at site, the mooring was found to be severley entangled in fishing gear, therefore the buoy has been redeployed 100m SE of its original position. |
