Wave parameters are recorded using a Datawell Directional WaveRider Mk III buoy. The buoy was deployed on 04 September 2012, at which time the magnetic declination at the site was 0.79° West, changing by 0.16° East per year.

The meteorological station equipment was swapped from a Gill Windsonic, CS106 Barometer and CS107 Thermistor to a Vaisala WXT536 on 14 February 2023. The meteorological station was deployed on 20 November 2017.

14/02/2023 Scheduled service of buoy and the met station has been swapped to a Vaisala WXT536. Software format changeovers have delayed met data transmission. Efforts to improve transmission are underway.
