Wave data are measured using a Datawell Directional WaveRider Mk III buoy. The buoy was deployed on 22 June 2009, at which time the magnetic declination at the site was 3.2° west, changing by 0.15° east per year.

The meteorological station was first deployed on 01 January 2010. The original OMC instrumentation was replaced with a Vaisala WXT536 in May 2019.

Data transmission from the buoy has stopped, it is suspected to be due to a power cut in the area following the recent storms.

Update: Data transmission has been restored.
